Our Henry Ford outpatient pharmacies support the medication needs of our Henry Ford Health hospice patients. Prescriptions can be available for pickup by family, friend, or caregiver. Same day delivery is also available upon request.

Pharmacy Advantage Specialty Pharmacy is a partner within our health system that offers medication services and free home delivery for specialty and non-specialty medications.

Core programs offered include: Oncology, Hepatitis B and C, Multiple Sclerosis, Growth Hormone Deficiency, Fertility, Transplant, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Crohn’s Disease and other Autoimmune Disorders.

What is Medicare Part B?

Medicare Part B is a crucial component of the Medicare program, designed to cover medically necessary services and supplies. Transplant medications, nebulizer solutions, insulin, and oncology medications may be eligible.

Am I Eligible?

Transplant Medication

  • You must have had active Medicare Part A or Part C coverage at the time of transplant and Medicare Part A or Part C must have paid toward your transplant.
  • You must have a transplant diagnosis.

Nebulizer Solution

  • Your diagnosis must be approved by Medicare for the prescribed drug.
  • You must own or rent a nebulizer machine.

Insulin

  • You must be receiving your insulin through an insulin pump

Oncology Medication

  • Your diagnosis code must be approved by Medicare for the prescribed drug.
